Job Description

The road is your office with a coal haulage contractor based in Centurion, and the load gets there because of you. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

The work is in Centurion, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

What your day looks like

Drive planned routes and stop only at approved truck stops
Do a full pre-trip inspection: tyres, brakes, lights, couplings and fluids
Complete border paperwork at Beitbridge, Lebombo or other posts
Keep the cab clean and report defects at the end of each trip
Check reefer temperatures and record them on cold-chain loads

Must-haves

Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
Able to be away from home for several nights at a time
Clean driving record with no serious accidents
At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks
Medically fit, including eyesight
Passport for cross-border routes
