Job Description

Long hours, clean record, safe arrival every time: that is what a cross-border transport company in Gqeberha pays for. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

This post is Gqeberha-based, with most of your time spent at a cross-border transport company. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

What your day looks like

Drive planned routes and stop only at approved truck stops
Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately
Do a full pre-trip inspection: tyres, brakes, lights, couplings and fluids
Complete border paperwork at Beitbridge, Lebombo or other posts
Carry out fuel stops with the fuel card and keep the slips

What you need

Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)
Clean criminal record
Passport for cross-border routes
At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks
