Code 14 Side Tipper Driver (Coal Haulage)

The road is your office with a cold-chain logistics fleet based in Mogwase, and the load gets there because of you. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

You'll be based at a cold-chain logistics fleet in Mogwase. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Complete border paperwork at Beitbridge, Lebombo or other posts
• Drive planned routes and stop only at approved truck stops
• Keep the logbook and tachograph or telematics records up to date
• Carry out fuel stops with the fuel card and keep the slips
• Check the load is secured, strapped or sealed before leaving the depot

• Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)
• Passport for cross-border routes
• Clean criminal record
• Able to be away from home for several nights at a time
• Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
• At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks

• Knowledge of SADC border routes
• Clean record on a telematics driving score

• Paid PrDP renewal
• Monthly safe-driving and fuel-saving bonus
• Overnight and subsistence allowance on trips

• Be honest about accidents or fines. Companies check your driving record anyway and trust drivers who tell them upfront.
• Put your licence code, PrDP expiry date and years on Code 14 in the first three lines. Transport managers scan for those first.
