Job Description

The road is your office with a cold-chain logistics fleet based in Secunda, and the load gets there because of you. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

The work is in Secunda, Mpumalanga, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

What your day looks like

Check the load is secured, strapped or sealed before leaving the depot
Deliver to customers and get proof-of-delivery signed and stamped
Do a full pre-trip inspection: tyres, brakes, lights, couplings and fluids
Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately
Keep the cab clean and report defects at the end of each trip

You'll need

Clean criminal record
Clean driving record with no serious accidents
Able to be away from home for several nights at a time
Medically fit, including eyesight
Passport for cross-border routes
