Job Description

You'll move heavy loads between Bethlehem and depots across the country for a long-haul freight fleet. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

You'll be based at a long-haul freight fleet in Bethlehem. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

What you'll actually do

Keep the logbook and tachograph or telematics records up to date
Complete border paperwork at Beitbridge, Lebombo or other posts
Deliver to customers and get proof-of-delivery signed and stamped
Check reefer temperatures and record them on cold-chain loads
Drive planned routes and stop only at approved truck stops

You'll need

Clean criminal record
Clean driving record with no serious accidents
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)
At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks
Medically fit, including eyesight

Extra points for

Defensive driving course
Knowledge of SADC border routes
Clean record on a telematics driving score
