Job Description

Long hours, clean record, safe arrival every time: that is what a fuel distribution fleet in Durban Central pays for. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

The site is in Durban Central; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

The work, day to day

Deliver to customers and get proof-of-delivery signed and stamped
Check reefer temperatures and record them on cold-chain loads
Complete border paperwork at Beitbridge, Lebombo or other posts
Do a full pre-trip inspection: tyres, brakes, lights, couplings and fluids
Keep the logbook and tachograph or telematics records up to date

What you need

Clean criminal record
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)
Able to be away from home for several nights at a time

Nice if you have

Knowledge of SADC border routes
Defensive driving course
Experience on a specific trailer type (tanker, tipper, reefer)
