Job Description

Every parcel scanned, every drop confirmed: that is the job at a courier depot in Brits. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

You'll be based at a courier depot in Brits. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

What you'll actually do

Phone customers when the address is hard to find
Scan parcels on delivery and take a photo or signature
Load parcels in route order from the depot scanning area
Keep your vehicle or bike clean and report faults
Follow the delivery app for route and stop order
Fill up the vehicle and keep fuel slips for the logbook

Must-haves

Clean driving record and no criminal record
Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps
Polite with customers at the door
Good sense of direction and map reading
At least 1 year of driving experience
Able to work Saturdays

Nice if you have

Knowledge of the city's industrial areas
PrDP for staff shuttle posts
Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts
