Job Description

You'll zip parcels, spares or documents around Durban Central for a motor spares shop, all day, all over town. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

This post is in Durban Central (KwaZulu-Natal). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

What you'll actually do

Load parcels in route order from the depot scanning area
Follow the delivery app for route and stop order
Scan parcels on delivery and take a photo or signature
Bank cheques, post documents and run office errands
Return undelivered parcels to the depot with a reason code

Must-haves

Clean driving record and no criminal record
At least 1 year of driving experience
Good sense of direction and map reading
Able to work Saturdays
Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps
Polite with customers at the door

Extra points for

Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts
Knowledge of the city's industrial areas
