Code 8 Courier Driver (Panel Van) – Permanent

For a courier depot in Mamelodi, fast and careful deliveries keep customers coming back. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

Home base is a courier depot on the Mamelodi side of Gauteng.

• Collect spares and parts from suppliers and bring them to the workshop
• Phone customers when the address is hard to find
• Load parcels in route order from the depot scanning area
• Keep your vehicle or bike clean and report faults
• Deliver chronic medication to patients' homes and confirm ID
• Fill up the vehicle and keep fuel slips for the logbook
• Return undelivered parcels to the depot with a reason code

• Good sense of direction and map reading
• Polite with customers at the door
• Valid Code 8 (B) licence, or A licence for motorbike roles
• At least 1 year of driving experience

• Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts
• Previous courier or last-mile experience
• PrDP for staff shuttle posts

• Branded uniform and rain gear
• Company van, bakkie or scooter provided
• Fuel card for work trips

• If you have a clean driving record, write "no accidents, no traffic fines" plainly. It is what recruiters look for.
• Say you have a smartphone and know delivery apps. Most courier jobs now run through an app and training time is short.
