Job Description

Every parcel scanned, every drop confirmed: that is the job at a motor spares shop in Umhlanga. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

This post is Umhlanga-based, with most of your time spent at a motor spares shop.

What your day looks like

Fill up the vehicle and keep fuel slips for the logbook
Collect spares and parts from suppliers and bring them to the workshop
Phone customers when the address is hard to find
Keep your vehicle or bike clean and report faults
Scan parcels on delivery and take a photo or signature
Load parcels in route order from the depot scanning area

Must-haves

Valid Code 8 (B) licence, or A licence for motorbike roles
Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps
Able to work Saturdays
Good sense of direction and map reading
Clean driving record and no criminal record

Nice if you have

Previous courier or last-mile experience
PrDP for staff shuttle posts
Knowledge of the city's industrial areas
