Job Description

You'll zip parcels, spares or documents around Kempton Park for an engineering firm, all day, all over town. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

This post is Kempton Park-based, with most of your time spent at an engineering firm. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

What you'll actually do

Scan parcels on delivery and take a photo or signature
Keep your vehicle or bike clean and report faults
Deliver chronic medication to patients' homes and confirm ID
Follow the delivery app for route and stop order
Load parcels in route order from the depot scanning area

What you need

Able to work Saturdays
Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps
Valid Code 8 (B) licence, or A licence for motorbike roles
Clean driving record and no criminal record
Polite with customers at the door
Good sense of direction and map reading

Extra points for

Knowledge of the city's industrial areas
PrDP for staff shuttle posts
Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts
