Code 8 Driver (Staff Shuttle)

You'll zip parcels, spares or documents around Polokwane for a courier depot, all day, all over town. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

You'll be based at a courier depot in Polokwane. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Load parcels in route order from the depot scanning area
• Return undelivered parcels to the depot with a reason code
• Keep your vehicle or bike clean and report faults
• Follow the delivery app for route and stop order
• Collect spares and parts from suppliers and bring them to the workshop
• Bank cheques, post documents and run office errands

• At least 1 year of driving experience
• Good sense of direction and map reading
• Clean driving record and no criminal record
• Polite with customers at the door

• Previous courier or last-mile experience
• PrDP for staff shuttle posts

• Fuel card for work trips
• Per-drop incentive on busy days
• Branded uniform and rain gear

• If you have a clean driving record, write "no accidents, no traffic fines" plainly. It is what recruiters look for.
• Say you have a smartphone and know delivery apps. Most courier jobs now run through an app and training time is short.
