Job Description

Hit your collection targets at this retail credit centre in Bethlehem and your commission shows it. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

The work is in Bethlehem, Free State, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

What you'll actually do

Track broken promises-to-pay and follow up within 48 hours.
Report daily on rands collected, contacts made and arrangements set.
Update debtor contact details from tracing searches.
Answer disputes about balances, interest and fees with a printed statement.
Hand accounts over for legal action once internal steps are exhausted.
Negotiate payment arrangements and set up DebiCheck mandates.

What you need

Target-driven and comfortable with commission
Registered, or willing to register, with the Council for Debt Collectors
Good with numbers, dates and payment calculations
Matric
At least 6 months in collections, sales or a call centre
