Collections Paralegal (Debt Recovery)

Draft, file, track and follow up: that's your week at a debt collection practice in Tembisa. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

• Open new matters and do conflict checks on the practice system
• Manage the attorney's diary and book consultations

• Collate and index court bundles and discovery files
• Collect documents for estates, such as death certificates and bank statements

• At least 2 years in a law firm or legal department
• Experience on legal software such as LegalSuite, AJS or GhostPractice
• Discreet with confidential client information
• Fast, accurate typing and strong Word formatting

• Paralegal diploma or LLB studies in progress
• NCR debt counsellor course
