Job Description

You'll sort out burst geysers, leaks and blockages for the property management company in Pretoria East. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

This post is Pretoria East-based, with most of your time spent at a property management company.

What you'll actually do

Fit toilets, basins, showers and mixers to the client's chosen finishes
Order fittings from the supplier and keep the van stocked
Issue plumbing Certificates of Compliance for completed installations
Work on the emergency call-out roster for after-hours bursts
Service booster pumps, pressure tanks and water storage tanks

You'll need

PIRB registration as a Licensed Plumber, so you can issue plumbing CoCs
Able to talk politely to home owners about damage and costs
Plumbing trade test certificate or an Occupational Certificate: Plumber (NQF 4)
Code 08 licence and a clean driving record

Extra points for

Drain camera and high-pressure jetting experience
Experience with insurance repair work and claim paperwork
SAQCC Gas registration for LPG installations
