Company Runner (Code 8, Light Vehicle)

For a courier depot in White River, fast and careful deliveries keep customers coming back. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

Location: White River, Mpumalanga. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Return undelivered parcels to the depot with a reason code
• Bank cheques, post documents and run office errands
• Collect spares and parts from suppliers and bring them to the workshop
• Fill up the vehicle and keep fuel slips for the logbook
• Follow the delivery app for route and stop order
• Keep your vehicle or bike clean and report faults

• Clean driving record and no criminal record
• Able to work Saturdays
• Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps
• Valid Code 8 (B) licence, or A licence for motorbike roles
• Polite with customers at the door

• PrDP for staff shuttle posts
• Previous courier or last-mile experience
• Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts

• Per-drop incentive on busy days
• Branded uniform and rain gear
• Company van, bakkie or scooter provided
• Fuel card for work trips

• Say you have a smartphone and know delivery apps. Most courier jobs now run through an app and training time is short.
• For owner-driver jobs, list your vehicle's make, year and load size. They hire the vehicle as much as the driver.
