Job Description

You'll mix, carry, dig and clean up so the tradespeople on a shopping centre renovation in Boksburg can keep building. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

Home base is a shopping centre renovation on the Boksburg side of Gauteng. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

What your day looks like

Cut and lay paving bricks along string lines
Set up barriers, cones and signs around open trenches
Erect and strip shutters and simple scaffolding under supervision
Dig trenches and foundations to the depth the foreman marks
Help offload deliveries of steel, timber and pipes

Must-haves

Able to follow instructions from a foreman or artisan
You take safety rules seriously and wear full PPE
Grade 8 or higher
Physically strong and fit for outdoor work in all weather
