Construction Health and Safety Officer (SACPCMP)

The high-rise residential project in Polokwane needs a safety officer who is on the site, not stuck in the container office. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

• Investigate incidents and near misses and report them on time
• Compile and maintain the site health and safety file under the Construction Regulations 2014
• Run site inductions for every new worker and visitor

• Inspect scaffolds, excavations and edge protection daily
• Keep appointment letters and competency certificates in the file
• Check that fall protection plans are in place for work at height

• SACPCMP registration as a Construction Health and Safety Officer
• First Aid Level 1 at least
• SAMTRAC or an NQF-accredited health and safety qualification
• Good understanding of the OHS Act and Construction Regulations 2014

• Diploma in Safety Management
