Job Description

Plant work suits people who watch the numbers and react fast. The gold processing plant near Lephalale needs you. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

You'll be based at a gold processing plant in Lephalale. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

What you'll actually do

Watch mill loads, cell levels and densities on the SCADA screens
Clean spillage and keep walkways free of hazards
Check pumps, cyclones and thickeners on the plant walk
Hand over the plant to the next shift with a clear status report
Start up, run and shut down crushers, screens and conveyors in sequence

What you need

MQA minerals processing certificate at NQF 2 or higher
At least 1 year operating a processing plant
Grade 12 with mathematics and physical science
Comfortable around noise, dust and heights while wearing full PPE
Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays
Basic computer skills for SCADA screens and logs

Extra points for
