Conveyancing Clerk (Sectional Title Developments)

A property development law firm in Vanderbijlpark needs someone who knows the Deeds Office process cold. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

The work is in Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Open transfer files from signed offers to purchase and check the terms
• Update agents, banks and clients on file progress on the bank portal and by email
• Request bond cancellation figures and guarantees from banks
• Prepare final statements of account and pay out on registration
• Lodge documents at the Deeds Office and track them through examination
• Apply for transfer duty receipts on SARS eFiling

• Experience on a conveyancing system such as GhostConvey, LegalSuite or AJS
• At least 2 years of conveyancing or bond work
• Knowledge of bank panel instruction portals and LAWtrust digital signing
• Matric, with a conveyancing course for secretary posts
• Organised enough to run 60 or more live files

• Deeds Office lodgement runner experience in your city
• Notarial bonds and servitudes

• Parking or taxi allowance for Deeds Office runs
