You'll be based at a property development law firm in Vereeniging. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Update agents, banks and clients on file progress on the bank portal and by email
• Request rates clearance and levy clearance figures from councils and body corporates
• Lodge documents at the Deeds Office and track them through examination
• Prepare deeds of transfer, powers of attorney and bond documents
• Run Deeds Office searches and title deed checks

• Experience on a conveyancing system such as GhostConvey, LegalSuite or AJS
• Knowledge of bank panel instruction portals and LAWtrust digital signing
• Matric, with a conveyancing course for secretary posts
• At least 2 years of conveyancing or bond work

• Normal office hours with rare weekend work
• Paid conveyancing short courses
• Parking or taxi allowance for Deeds Office runs
• Registration bonus per file at some firms
