Job Description

Work under a registered pharmacist at a community retail pharmacy in Midrand and keep the dispensary running smoothly. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

This post is Midrand-based, with most of your time spent at a community retail pharmacy.

What you'll actually do

Record cold-chain fridge temperatures twice a day
Process medical aid claims and fix rejections before the patient leaves
Receive stock, check expiry dates and pack shelves first-expiry-first-out
Help customers choose over-the-counter and front-shop products
Do cycle counts and flag stock discrepancies to the responsible pharmacist
Pick, count and label medicine for the pharmacist's final check

What you need

Understanding of medical aid claim codes and PMB chronic rules
Able to work Saturdays and some Sundays on a rotation
Friendly and clear at a busy counter
Matric with Maths or Maths Literacy
