Credit Risk Data Analyst (Lending)

Build the SQL, models and dashboards that run the weekly meeting at a telecoms provider in Alberton. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

Home base is a telecoms provider on the Alberton side of Gauteng. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Mask or remove personal information in data sets under POPIA
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and data models
• Check data quality and trace odd numbers back to the source
• Keep a data dictionary so everyone uses the same definitions
• Write SQL to pull, join and clean data from several sources
• Build simple forecasting and segmentation models in Python or R
• Present findings to managers in plain language with clear charts

• Advanced Excel
• Careful with sensitive customer data
• At least 2 years in a data or reporting role (not needed for graduate posts)
• Strong SQL, including joins, window functions and CTEs
• Hands-on Power BI, Tableau or a similar tool

• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake or Fabric
• Industry knowledge in retail, insurance or credit
• Python with pandas for data wrangling
