Customer Care Consultant (Retail Bank)

You'll take customer calls and chats at an international outsourcing contact centre in Isando, sorting problems on the first contact. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

The work is in Isando, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Log every interaction and outcome in the CRM before taking the next call.
• Answer inbound calls within target and greet callers using the approved script.
• Troubleshoot routers, fibre connections and app logins step by step.
• Follow up on open tickets and phone customers back when promised.
• Escalate complex complaints to a team leader with clear case notes.
• Verify caller identity before sharing any account details, as POPIA requires.

• Open to rotating shifts, including nights and weekends for offshore campaigns
• You stay calm when a caller is angry
• Matric with a pass in English
• Basic computer skills: Windows, email and working across a few screens

• A second language, especially Afrikaans, isiZulu or Portuguese
• A Customer Service NQF Level 2 or 4 learnership certificate

• Paid training for 2 to 4 weeks before you go live
