Customer Service Agent (Telco Support) – Experienced

You'll take customer calls and chats at a banking service centre in Stellenbosch, sorting problems on the first contact. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

You'll report in Stellenbosch. Relocation is not covered for this one.

• Attend team huddles and weekly coaching sessions on call recordings.
• Meet daily targets for average handle time, quality score and first-call resolution.
• Follow up on open tickets and phone customers back when promised.
• Troubleshoot routers, fibre connections and app logins step by step.
• Process address changes, refunds and cancellations on the billing system.

• Open to rotating shifts, including nights and weekends for offshore campaigns
• Basic computer skills: Windows, email and working across a few screens
• Matric with a pass in English
• You stay calm when a caller is angry
• Able to pass a voice and accent assessment

• A second language, especially Afrikaans, isiZulu or Portuguese
• Technical know-how on Wi-Fi, fibre or smartphones

• Company transport home after night shifts
• Paid training for 2 to 4 weeks before you go live
• Clear promotion path to team leader or quality assessor

• Put any shift work (retail, restaurant, security) on your CV; recruiters want proof you turn up for rotating hours.
• Take the online assessment in a quiet room with a headset; most BPOs screen out candidates on background noise.
