Customer Service Clerk (Courier Depot) – Permanent

Customers bring their problems to your counter at a furniture retail branch in Mthatha, and leave with answers. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

You'll report in Mthatha. Relocation is not covered for this one.

• Track parcels, reissue waybills and arrange redelivery at the counter.
• Greet customers, find out what they need and manage the queue ticket system.
• Do SIM swaps and RICA registrations with proper ID checks.
• Book repairs and warranty claims and give customers a reference number.
• Log complaints and pass them to the store or branch manager.

• Good on a computer and point-of-sale system
• You can stay polite with a long queue watching
• Retail hours, including Saturdays, Sundays and month-end
• Retail or customer service experience of at least a year

• Staff discount on products
• Fixed roster published two weeks ahead
• Product training and certifications paid for

• Apply close to home: stores prefer people who can reach the mall reliably for opening and closing shifts.
• Mention any till, cash-up or POS work on your CV; it shows you can be trusted with money.
