Customer Service Clerk (Courier Depot)

Customers bring their problems to your counter at a department store service desk in Rustenburg, and leave with answers. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

You'll be based at a department store service desk in Rustenburg. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Update customer details and file signed forms for audit.
• Log complaints and pass them to the store or branch manager.
• Book repairs and warranty claims and give customers a reference number.
• Call customers when repairs or orders are ready to collect.
• Do SIM swaps and RICA registrations with proper ID checks.

• You can stay polite with a long queue watching
• Good on a computer and point-of-sale system
• Presentable and approachable with all kinds of customers
• Matric (Grade 12) certificate
• Retail or customer service experience of at least a year
• Retail hours, including Saturdays, Sundays and month-end

• A Customer Service NQF certificate
• Medical scheme or insurance product knowledge
• RICA and cellular product knowledge

• Fixed roster published two weeks ahead
• Staff discount on products
• Product training and certifications paid for

• Dress as if you already work the counter when you drop off a CV or go for the interview.
• Apply close to home: stores prefer people who can reach the mall reliably for opening and closing shifts.
