Cyber Security Analyst (SOC, Shifts)

A managed services provider in Roodepoort needs infrastructure that just works, and someone to make it so. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

You'll be based at a managed services provider in Roodepoort. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Configure switches, VLANs, VPNs and firewall rules
• Manage users, groups and conditional access in Entra ID
• Build and maintain virtual machines on Hyper-V, VMware or Azure
• Monitor servers, links and firewalls and act on alerts
• Run and test backups, and do regular restore drills

• Strong Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 skills, or Linux for Linux posts
• Willing to do standby and after-hours maintenance
• Degree or diploma in IT, plus relevant certifications
• Scripting in PowerShell, Bash or Python
• At least 3 years in systems, network or cloud administration

• Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or AWS Solutions Architect Associate
• Experience with SIEM tools such as Microsoft Sentinel or Wazuh
