If you like working with animals, a broiler chicken farm near Prospecton has steady, long-term work. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

You'll report in Prospecton. Relocation is not covered for this one. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Milk cows in the parlour following the milking routine
• Keep water troughs and drinkers working
• Follow biosecurity rules like foot baths and clean overalls
• Move animals between camps or pens calmly
• Help the vet with vaccinations and treatments

• South African ID or a legal work permit
• Follows hygiene and biosecurity rules
• Gentle and patient with animals
• Able to live on the farm or close by

• Animal health or AgriSETA short course
• Basic farm maintenance skills

• Farm housing on site
• Training in animal health
• Milk or meat rations
• Production bonus on milk yield or growth targets

• Stress reliability. Explain that you understand milking or feeding cannot be skipped.
• For foreman roles, mention how many workers you supervised and what you were in charge of.
