Dispatch Assistant (Building Materials) – Immediate Start

You'll load and offload trucks at a furniture retailer warehouse in Boksburg so every delivery goes out full and correct. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

You'll be based at a furniture retailer warehouse in Boksburg. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Strap and secure loads so nothing shifts in transit
• Assemble or place furniture where the customer asks
• Offload containers by hand, counting cartons as they come off
• Sweep the bay and clear shrink-wrap after each loading
• Guide trucks reversing into the bay with hand signals
• Stack returns and empties neatly for the next count
• Load trucks from the load sheet in drop order, last stop first

• Willing to travel on routes that return late
• Friendly with customers at the door
• Grade 9 or higher and able to read a delivery note
• Comfortable starting from 04:00 or working late loading shifts

• Speaking more than one local language for customer drops
• Basic furniture assembly skills
• Past work as a driver's assistant

• Route-completion incentives in busy months
• Help to get your own licence through the company later
• Uniform and safety shoes provided
