Dispatch Assistant (Building Materials)

Delivery days start early in Prospecton, and a beverage depot needs you on the bay before the trucks roll. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

Home base is a beverage depot on the Prospecton side of KwaZulu-Natal.

• Assemble or place furniture where the customer asks
• Sweep the bay and clear shrink-wrap after each loading
• Get proof-of-delivery notes signed and stamped at each drop
• Ride with the driver and carry goods into customers' premises
• Check goods received against the delivery note and flag shorts
• Strap and secure loads so nothing shifts in transit
• Stack returns and empties neatly for the next count

• Friendly with customers at the door
• Able to lift and carry heavy items all day
• Willing to travel on routes that return late
• Comfortable starting from 04:00 or working late loading shifts
• No criminal record
• Honest; you will be handling customer goods and cash-on-delivery slips

• Basic furniture assembly skills
• A Code 8 or Code 10 licence (a route to becoming a driver)

• Help to get your own licence through the company later
• Uniform and safety shoes provided
• Route-completion incentives in busy months
