Job Description

Get off the road and into the control office at a distribution depot in Pretoria West. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

You'll be based at a distribution depot in Pretoria West. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

What your day looks like

Compile daily reports on trips completed and late deliveries
Plan daily loads to use full truck capacity
Book vehicle services, licence renewals and roadworthy tests
Update customers on delivery times and delays
Capture trip sheets, fuel and toll costs on the system
Keep a register of PrDP and licence expiry dates for all drivers

Must-haves

Knowledge of South African road freight regulations
At least 2 years in transport or logistics
Able to work shifts in a 24-hour control office
Matric

Nice if you have

Transport management system (TMS) experience
Knowledge of cross-border documentation
Experience on a vehicle telematics platform
