Job Description

Strong back, sharp eyes on the load sheet: that is what a parcel sorting hub in Lephalale wants. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

You'll be based at a parcel sorting hub in Lephalale. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

The work, day to day

Ride with the driver and carry goods into customers' premises
Check goods received against the delivery note and flag shorts
Offload containers by hand, counting cartons as they come off
Stack returns and empties neatly for the next count
Get proof-of-delivery notes signed and stamped at each drop
Assemble or place furniture where the customer asks

What you need

Grade 9 or higher and able to read a delivery note
Honest; you will be handling customer goods and cash-on-delivery slips
Willing to travel on routes that return late
No criminal record

Helpful, not essential

Basic furniture assembly skills
A Code 8 or Code 10 licence (a route to becoming a driver)
Speaking more than one local language for customer drops
