Job Description

Little ones at a workplace day care centre in Ballito learn through play, and you'll set up that play. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

This post is Ballito-based, with most of your time spent at a workplace day care centre. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

What you'll actually do

Prepare simple, nutritious snacks and keep the kitchen hygienic
Feed, change and settle babies and toddlers on their routine
Set up daily learning areas for art, blocks, reading and fantasy play
Help aftercare learners with homework and reading
Follow the NCF daily programme and adapt it for each age group

You'll need

Clear Form 30 child protection check and police clearance
Matric
Able to follow hygiene and safety routines without cutting corners
ECD Level 4 or Level 5 qualification, or currently studying towards one
