Job Description

You'll design, protect and maintain electrical systems for the manufacturing plant in Lephalale. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

You'll report in Lephalale. Relocation is not covered for this one. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

What your day looks like

Review PLC and SCADA logic for process control and alarms
Design solar PV and battery systems and handle grid connection to NRS 097
Plan maintenance for switchgear, transformers and motor control centres
Inspect installations and sign off compliance on completion
Guide technicians and contractors on site during commissioning

Must-haves

Able to write clear technical reports and specifications
At least 3 years of electrical engineering work after graduating
Experience with at least one power system or lighting design package
ECSA registration as Pr Eng, Pr Tech Eng or Candidate
