End-User Computing Technician

A managed IT services provider in White River needs a calm tech who can help frustrated users get back to work. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

You'll report in White River. Relocation is not covered for this one. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Keep the asset register up to date when equipment moves
• Reset passwords and unlock accounts in Active Directory and Entra ID
• Escalate network and server faults to second or third line with good notes
• Write short how-to guides for common user problems
• Troubleshoot Outlook, Teams and OneDrive problems for users

• Basic networking: IP addresses, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi
• Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma
• Able to log clear, complete ticket notes
• At least 1 year of help desk or desktop support (not needed for intern posts)

• ITIL Foundation
• Experience supporting point-of-sale or medical devices
• CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft MD-102 certification

• Clear path to second-line and systems roles
• Paid certification exams after probation
• Company laptop and cellphone
• Travel allowance for field technicians

• Be ready for a practical test on a real laptop or a phone troubleshooting role-play.
