Estate and Trust Tax Administrator

You'll keep clients in good standing with SARS at a fiduciary and trust company in Vereeniging. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

You'll be based at a fiduciary and trust company in Vereeniging. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Register clients for income tax, VAT and PAYE
• Track filing season deadlines and send reminders to clients
• Draft objections and appeals with supporting schedules
• Prepare VAT201 returns and review input tax claims
• Calculate IRP6 provisional tax for individuals and companies
• Check SARS assessments and flag errors to clients

• Neat, careful and organised with client documents
• Degree or diploma in accounting or tax
• Registered tax practitioner with a recognised controlling body such as SAIT or SAIPA
• Comfortable handling tax season overtime
• At least 2 years of SARS eFiling experience
• Working knowledge of the Income Tax Act and VAT Act

• Postgraduate diploma in tax
• Tax software experience such as TaxShop or CaseWare

• CPD hours paid by the firm
• Paid controlling body subscription
• Bonus at the end of filing season
• Flexible hours outside filing season
