Estate Housekeeper (Large Home)

A family in Pinetown wants someone they can trust with their guesthouse with family quarters and their children. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

You'll be based at a guesthouse with family quarters in Pinetown. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Water indoor plants and feed pets
• Get children ready for school and supervise homework in the afternoon
• Keep a list of cleaning supplies running low for the employer
• Change bed linen and make beds
• Help an elderly person with meals, medication reminders and light walking

• Willing to follow the family's house rules and routines
• South African ID or valid work permit
• Good with children and patient
• Able to speak and understand basic English
• Able to handle a full-day physical routine

• Experience caring for an older person
• A driver's licence for school lifts

• Paid annual leave and public holidays as the law requires
• Transport money for live-out staff
• Written contract with fixed hours and duties
