Job Description

You'll run a shift of officers at a residential estate in Ermelo, keeping posts covered and standards high. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

The work is in Ermelo, Mpumalanga, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

What you'll actually do

Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours
Investigate incidents and write reports for the client
Inspect guards on post for uniform, alertness and OB entries
Meet the client weekly on security concerns
Order and issue uniform, radios and torches
Do surprise night visits to check posts

Must-haves

Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
Confident writer of incident reports and rosters
At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)
Available after hours for emergencies

Extra points for

Mining or hospital security experience
Own reliable vehicle
Labour relations or basic supervision course
