Estate Security Supervisor – Immediate Start

Step up from guarding into supervising on a residential estate in Kariega. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

Location: Kariega, Eastern Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours
• Inspect guards on post for uniform, alertness and OB entries
• Run on-site training on procedures and emergency drills
• Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows
• Do surprise night visits to check posts

• Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
• Confident writer of incident reports and rosters
• Matric, with a security management course a plus
• At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor

• Mining or hospital security experience
• Own reliable vehicle
• Computer skills for rosters in Excel or a workforce app

• Management training for growth to operations manager
• Provident fund and funeral cover
• Cellphone allowance
• Company vehicle or car allowance on area roles

• Say how many officers you supervised and on which sites. The number matters more than the title.
• If you have been upgraded through the grades, show the progression. It proves you grew on the job.
