Estate Security Supervisor

Officers look to you on every shift at a residential estate in White River. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

You'll be based at a residential estate in White River. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Handle discipline issues fairly and keep written records
• Inspect guards on post for uniform, alertness and OB entries
• Investigate incidents and write reports for the client
• Check that PSIRA registrations of staff on site are current
• Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows
• Do surprise night visits to check posts

• Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
• Matric, with a security management course a plus
• At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
• Available after hours for emergencies
• PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)

• Handgun competency for armed supervisor posts
• Own reliable vehicle

• Company vehicle or car allowance on area roles

• Mention how you handled absenteeism or roster gaps. It is the biggest daily headache for security companies.
• Say how many officers you supervised and on which sites. The number matters more than the title.
