Estimator (Tenders & Pricing) – Experienced

This is a numbers job with boots on: bills of quantities, site measurements and payment claims in Springs. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

The site is in Springs; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying.

• Price tenders using supplier quotes, labour rates and plant costs
• Get quotes from subcontractors and compare them line by line
• Measure work on site for monthly interim payment certificates
• Prepare the final account at the end of the project
• Take off quantities from drawings to build a bill of quantities
• Value variations and prepare claims under JBCC or GCC conditions
• Track budget against actual cost and flag overruns early

• At least 3 years of QS work in private practice or with a contractor
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables
• BSc, BTech or Diploma in Quantity Surveying
• Code 08 licence for site visits

• SACQSP registration as a Professional or Candidate QS
• Honours degree in Quantity Surveying

• Travel allowance for site visits
• Hybrid days in the office and on site
• Paid SACQSP registration fees and CPD courses
