Evening Turndown Housekeeper

Guests at a city business hotel in Vanderbijlpark will never meet you, but they will judge the stay by your work. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

• Keep your trolley stocked and neat before each shift
• Clean lobby, lifts and public toilets through the day
• Vacuum, dust and check the minibar in each room
• Report maintenance faults like dripping taps or broken lights
• Log lost property with the guest's room number and date
• Work through a room list, marking rooms clean on the housekeeping board

• Quick and thorough, with a target of about 14 to 16 rooms a shift
• Friendly and polite if you meet guests in the corridor
• Available on weekends, holidays and in peak season
• Well groomed
• Grade 10 or matric

• Experience with industrial laundry machines
• A hospitality short course or NQF Level 2 accommodation services certificate

• Meals on duty from the staff kitchen
