Event Security Steward (Stadium)

You'll control who comes in and out of an industrial park in Brits, and log every visitor properly. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

The work is in Brits, North West, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Open and close boom gates for residents, deliveries and contractors
• Direct traffic and parking during school drop-off or big events
• Check visitors' IDs and capture them on the visitor app or in the gate register
• Test the panic button and radio when you come on duty
• Write every incident and shift change in the occurrence book (OB)
• Patrol the perimeter on a set route and scan checkpoint tags

• Physically fit for foot patrols
• Clean criminal record
• Alert, polite and firm with the public
• PSIRA registration at Grade C or higher, paid up to date
• Speaks and writes basic English
• Able to work 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends

• Experience on estate access apps or biometric readers
• Previous experience at a similar site type

• Chance to be upgraded to Grade B with training
• Stable long-term site contracts
• Paid night-shift allowance under the security sector rules
• Uniform, boots and winter jacket issued

• Arrive for the interview in neat clothes with your certificates in a plastic sleeve. It shows the discipline they want.
• Make sure your PSIRA fees are paid. A lapsed registration gets your CV thrown out, even if you have years of experience.
