Event Security Steward (Stadium)

Steady 12-hour shifts at a distribution warehouse in Germiston for PSIRA-registered officers. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

This post is Germiston-based, with most of your time spent at a distribution warehouse. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Call the armed response or SAPS number from the call list when needed
• Search vehicles and bags leaving the site when company policy requires it
• Open and close boom gates for residents, deliveries and contractors
• Patrol the perimeter on a set route and scan checkpoint tags
• Test the panic button and radio when you come on duty

• Clean criminal record
• Able to work 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends
• Alert, polite and firm with the public
• Clear, neat handwriting for the OB and registers

• Paid night-shift allowance under the security sector rules
• Provident fund contributions
• Uniform, boots and winter jacket issued
• Chance to be upgraded to Grade B with training
