Excavator Operator (20-Ton, Bulk Earthworks) – Immediate Start

You'll move earth, dig trenches and shape roads for the quarry and aggregate supplier in Brackenfell. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

• Compact layers with the roller until density tests pass
• Park the machine on level ground and lock it when you knock off
• Backfill and compact around pipes in layers
• Record machine hours and fuel on the daily plant sheet
• Load tipper trucks without spillage or overloading
• Grease the machine daily and report leaks or damage straight away
• Do the pre-start checklist on your machine before the first bucket

• Valid Code 10 licence for moving machines on public roads
• Medical certificate of fitness for operating mobile plant
• At least 2 years operating the machine on construction sites
• Can read grade pegs and understand cut and fill
• Good depth perception and no history of machine accidents
• Willing to work on projects outside your home town

• PrDP for tipper or lowbed work
