Field Sales Rep (Informal Trade & Spaza)

This dairy producer needs a rep in eMalahleni who knows the shops, the owners and the numbers. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

The site is in eMalahleni; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Take orders from store managers and spaza owners on the sales app.
• Collect cash or EFT proof on van sales and bank daily.
• Track competitor pricing and new products in your area.
• Pack shelves, rotate stock and remove damaged or expired lines.
• Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.

• Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting
• 1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
• Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
• A valid Code 08 (Code B) driver's licence, for rep roles
• You can work to daily and monthly volume targets

• Existing relationships with independent retailers
• Your own reliable car for a car-allowance position
• A sales or marketing certificate

• Company vehicle or car allowance plus petrol card
• Monthly commission on volume and new accounts
• Cellphone and data allowance
