Finance Manager (SME)

You'll own the monthly numbers for a mid-sized manufacturing group in Krugersdorp, from journals to the management pack. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

You'll report in Krugersdorp. Relocation is not covered for this one.

• Prepare the audit file and answer auditor queries
• Track stock costing, standard costs and production variances
• Prepare monthly management accounts with variance commentary
• Build budgets and rolling forecasts with department heads
• Calculate provisional tax and check the VAT201 before submission
• Draft annual financial statements under IFRS or IFRS for SMEs

• You meet month-end deadlines without being chased
• At least 3 years of post-qualification accounting experience
• Understanding of South African income tax and VAT
• Strong Excel skills, including large data sets and lookups
• Working knowledge of IFRS or IFRS for SMEs
• Experience on an ERP such as Sage X3, Sage 300, Syspro or SAP Business One
