Financial Accountant (Manufacturing) – Immediate Start

An audit and advisory firm in Randburg needs an accountant who can close fast and explain the variances. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

The site is in Randburg; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Calculate provisional tax and check the VAT201 before submission
• Run the month-end close and prepare the trial balance
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and clear old reconciling items
• Track stock costing, standard costs and production variances
• Draft annual financial statements under IFRS or IFRS for SMEs

• Working knowledge of IFRS or IFRS for SMEs
• BCom Accounting or equivalent degree
• Strong Excel skills, including large data sets and lookups
• At least 3 years of post-qualification accounting experience
• Experience on an ERP such as Sage X3, Sage 300, Syspro or SAP Business One
• Understanding of South African income tax and VAT

• Power BI or a similar BI tool
• Completed articles at an audit firm
