Fleet Administrator (Licences and Services)

Get off the road and into the control office at a courier operations centre in Atlantis. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

This post is Atlantis-based, with most of your time spent at a courier operations centre.

• Check driver hours so nobody drives too long without rest
• Assign trucks and drivers to routes and track them on telematics
• Capture trip sheets, fuel and toll costs on the system
• Phone drivers when trucks stop too long or go off-route
• Keep a register of PrDP and licence expiry dates for all drivers

• Good with Excel and email
• Knowledge of South African road freight regulations
• Clear on the phone with drivers and customers
• Able to work shifts in a 24-hour control office
• Matric
• Calm and decisive when things go wrong

• Training on the fleet and tracking systems
• Office-based work with a steady roster

• If you drove trucks before, say so. Controllers who know the road earn quick respect from drivers.
